Adult Day Care Centre Support Worker

In order to be considered you must have experience in all of the below as a minimum

(Minimum) 1 Year's experience in supporting individuals with challenging behaviour

A calm and approachable manner

Be willing to participate in activities

Excellent interpersonal skills

Precise record keeping

Personal Care and hygiene

Meal Preparation

Moving and handling

Buccal Training and or certificated awareness

(preferred) Nappi Level 2 or PMVA training up to date

A clear DBS

Personal Criteria

You should enjoy your work and have a can-do attitude with a bright and approachable nature. You should have an empathy with people and an adaptable approach to your chosen career. You will be able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of challenging times and always find solutions through combined working and shared ethos,

Reliability is key you will be working with individuals who require continuity and a high quality of support and as such we require all staff to be 15 minutes early to shift and to present themselves in a clean and appropriate manner.
